ECTLC receives food donations for holiday dinner.

EL CAJON, CA – On Saturday, November 23rd 2019, East County Transitional Living Center received a donation of 176 dinner boxes and turkeys. The food was located at the Albertson’s Grocery Store at 1608 Broadway in El Cajon.

Harold Brown, CEO of East County Transitional Living Center, Robert Webb, Food Services Director and staff from the Center met with Steve Chrzan, Manager of the Albertson’s where they picked up the dinner donation boxes.

Each box contained traditional ingredients for a Thanksgiving dinner; mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries and more, along with the turkey, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie for dessert! In addition, ECTLC received enough hams to feed the nearly 400 people who show up for our holiday dinner.

East County Transitional Living Center is very grateful to Steve, the employees of the market and the Albertson’s corporation for their support. The continuing support from local businesses is crucial to ECTLC’s ability to help those in need.
