Jan 29, 2020 – Houston, TX – Anyone who wants to make fewer mistakes, increase task accuracy, and generally do better at work should consider the upcoming half-day Improve Attention to Detail Workshop in Houston on February 27th, 2020.

Designed for employees and small teams, the hosted workshop is a small event limited to only ten attendees in a boardroom-style meeting room. Presented by Chris Denny, the creator of the system, it includes the training, exercises, discussion, and even a game. The content is truly unique, the workshop is engaging, and the training is effective.

Chris Denny is a trainer, consultant, author, and business owner who once wanted to help a single employee improve his attention to detail to be more productive and better able to contribute the full depth of his talent to the team and clients. Chris shares that the employee was very talented technically but his work always required corrections and revisions of mistakes he shouldn’t have been making. After an extensive search, Chris could not find any training or materials to provide for him, so he started making something himself. He quickly realized that the topic was much larger than he had anticipated and also that he loved the research. As he peeled back the layers of what it takes to develop well-rounded attention to detail, Chris became more and more interested in the topic. That was in 2010.

After 6 years, his research (countless books, library research, surveys, and interviews) and passion culminated in the development of the system he created to help individuals, teams, and organizations become more detail-oriented to reduce errors, increase task accuracy, and improve overall productivity and effectiveness. He began delivering corporate workshops in 2017 and now offers online courses, corporate workshops, and limited hosted workshops, such as the February event in Houston. In 2019, he completed the book, Improve Attention To Detail, which is available on Amazon. The system and his delivery of it are constantly improving based on his ongoing research and feedback from his clients, which is overwhelmingly positive. As you can imagine, Chris likes digging into the details of what’s working and what’s not and using that feedback to improve the system and training.

Chris says he is usually brought into companies for one of two reasons. He explains, “Most of my clients have either experienced a really big, maybe expensive, event that highlights the need for error reduction and quality improvements or they are simply quality-focused and understand the value in reducing ‘the little everyday mistakes’ and increasing accuracy at the task level.” Workshop attendees leave with a straightforward system they can apply in their everyday work and the results include reduced errors, increased productivity, and even improved morale.

The February 27th workshop is the only hosted event planned for Houston in 2020. Details for the workshop are available here. Another hosted workshop is scheduled for March 5th in Lakewood, Colorado and Chris says he is planning similar hosted workshops this year in Washington D.C., New York, and San Francisco, scheduled around his corporate workshops.
