Laser tattoo removal is one of the latest innovations from SharpLight Technologies. While one’s tattoo may have seemed like a great idea during one’s youth, many people often regret their impulses when they get older.

SharpLight’s innovative laser targets only the tattooed area, leaving the surrounding skin untouched. It is considered non-invasive and little or no down time is required. Sessions should be scheduled 3 to 4 weeks apart and number of sessions depends on various considerations. These include size, with larger tattoos needing additional sessions than smaller tattoos and location, as certain locations are more painful and sensitive than others. In addition, the type of ink used affects the number of sessions, with older ink being more difficult to remove, as opposed to newer inks and the patient’s ability to heal. In addition, the tattoo artist’s skill level must be taken into consideration. Skilled artists do not go too deeply into the skin, and their work is at even depth throughout the tattoo. This allows the laser calibration to easily target the tattoo without changing settings. The original application method is important as well. Finally, a client’s skin colour will determine how many sessions are needed. Older tattoos also take longer to remove, since they have been ingrained in the skin longer. For example, clients with darker skin tones will need to use a lower energy level.

SharpLight’s easy to use equipment now makes laser tattoo removal easier than ever. Examples of machines include the OmniMax S4, the OmniMax S3, and the RapidQS.

In particular, the RapidQS is known to remove the trauma from tattoo removal. Innovative q-switching provides clients with safe and effective solutions for tattoo removal, as well as pigment irregularities.  It is also very easy to use. This q-switch laser is considered the gold standard of coloured or black, and small and large tattoos. Tattoos are removed in stages, but the powerful laser allows results to be seen quickly. Best of all, tattoos can be removed without scarring or loss of natural skin colour.

In addition to laser tattoo removal, SharpLight Technologies also offers cellulite reduction, skin tightening, fractional resurfacing, pigmented lesions, acne treatment, skin rejuvenation, hair removal, anti-aging systems, vein removal, stretch mark treatments, body contouring, treatment of vascular lesions, wrinkle reduction, and more. These are possible through a variety of innovative technologies, such as dynamic pulse control (DPC), multi-polar radio frequency (RF), lasers, as well as VermaDerm infrared technologies.
