Premier Virtual’s technology gives schools and companies an alternative option for job fairs and hiring events due to Coronavirus

March 16, 2020 – Premier Virtual is a multi-functional software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed to bridge the gap between technology and human interaction.

As the novel Coronavirus, named Covid-19, continues to cause mayhem to mankind, States and Countries have been forced–as palliative and preventive measures – to either suspend or shut down schools, businesses, government establishments, sporting activities, interstate and international travels among other measures.

This has made many companies to go virtual. As schools are canceling their in-person job fairs for graduating students, they need another option to help their students find employment after graduation. Most colleges and universities hold a large in-person job fair at the end of the spring semester and students look forward to this to speak directly with companies. With this, Premier Virtual gives them the opportunity to do all this online from any device. With schools being closed, this is an even better time for students to log in. One organization, FloridaACE is conducting its virtual career fair on April 7th. Graduating students throughout FL will be logging in to look for careers after college.

On March 3, Bloomberg News reported that leading global financial services firm, JPMorgan Chase, had asked 10% of its 127,000 employees to work from home, thereby allowing the company to test its plan for office closures. The next day, Yahoo Finance reported that E-commerce giants, Amazon, had asked its employees to check their VPN connections by logging in remotely. Google sent a similar email on the same day that said all job interviews globally would be done virtually.

In line with these recent developments, Premier Virtual has begun working with schools to move everything virtual. They also build virtual hiring rooms for companies. The software is a virtual recruitment platform with greater functionality and utility for both employers and job seekers.

With its cutting-edge technology, Premier Virtual allows candidates to log into a company’s virtual hiring room and look/apply to open positions, able to research companies through websites, videos, and social media and chat/video all in one location. This powerful, multi-functional technology can be used in many ways, which has created the opportunity for PV to license it to many organizations for individual company events, recruitment agencies, and schools, as well as non-hiring firms that seek to put on their own virtual events.

As a Veteran owned business, Premier Virtual allows these events can be run remotely from anywhere, on any device, without having to be

stuck in long queues. As large groups are being canceled, virtual hiring events will be the future of recruiting. As a client, Krista, from Ft Lauderdale, Florida, testified: “We conducted a job fair just for our company through the virtual platform. We hired 30 people from the event in a 3 hour period. I have worked with Steve for 6 years attending his in-person events but the virtual events are very convenient.”
