Launching Pay it Forward Fund to support Front Line Workers, DermaEnvy Skincare, A growing Canadian Laser, Skincare and Medical Aesthetics franchise has quickly innovated to find solutions to support their loyal clients, team members, local franchisees and the local community amid the global Coronavirus pandemic.

HALIFAX, NS – April 9, 2020 – DermaEnvy Skincare, A growing Canadian Laser, Skincare and Medical Aesthetics franchise has quickly innovated to find solutions to support their loyal clients, team members, local franchisees and the local community amid the global Coronavirus pandemic.

DermaEnvy Skincare has six clinics in four provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Ontario) offering the latest in medical spa and cosmetic treatment technology including Laser Hair Removal. All have been closed since March 18th following provincial orders and the advice of public health officials.

In the weeks since, they have developed and quickly acted on a plan; the first being to develop an online skincare shop to ensure their loyal clients can continue their beloved skincare routine despite these unusual times. Offering Free Shipping across Canada, 100% of net proceedsfrom the online shop will be distributed to Team DermaEnvy members currently laid off and local franchisees of the independently owned clinics to aid in the financial burden the closure is causing.

“There is often great innovation following times of crisis – and we want to continue to innovate, grow and thrive post-pandemic,” said Cohen MacInnis, President of Wellness Brands Canada Inc., franchisor of the DermaEnvy Skincare brand who believes the creation of “The DermaEnvy Skincare Pay it Forward Fund” and the Online Shop could become permanent innovations for the growing franchisor.

In response to the Coronavirus Pandemic COVID-19 Crisis, the company is establishing the “DermaEnvy Skincare Pay it Forward Fund” to accept donations from those seeking a way to support both front-line workers in our communities and support local small businesses. Funds will purchase gift cards for self-care treatments and be gifted to front-line workers in the community using random acts of kindness and nominations.

You can donate + nominate online at www.dermaenvy.com/payitforward

All donations to the fund up to $10,000, will be matched by DermaEnvy Skincare to help thank our local front line community heroes. “We look forward to welcoming them to our clinics for some much deserved self care; they are the engines that selflessly serve our community daily,” said MacInnis.
