Amphitheater Public School District Offers Free Meals For Kids During Covid-19 School Closures
The Amphitheater Public School District is offering free grab and go meals for children under 18 in the Tucson area. The District recognizes that this is a hard time for many families and the community. In an effort to help relieve stress and serve the community, Amphitheater Public School District is providing a free drive-thru meal service.
The service is available Monday through Friday every week. Meals can be picked up from multiple schools in the District including:
Amphitheater High School
Amphitheater Middle School/LM Prince Elementary School
Canyon Del Oro High School
Coronado K-8 School
Donaldson Elementary School
Holaway Elementary School
Keeling Elementary School
La Cima Middle School
Mesa Verde Elementary School
Nash Elementary School
Rio Vista Elementary School
Lulu Walker Elementary School
Painted Sky Elementary School
Parents just need to show up to the school office at one of the schools listed between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Families can stay in the car or walk-up, and the staff will hand them the meals. Children do not need to be present to obtain the meals.
