Rotary Youth Exchange Offering Sponsorships for High School Study Abroad Programs Available at Lowest Costs
Operated by Rotary International, ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE offers sponsorships for various foreign student exchange programs. These programs include Summer Abroad, Gap Year Abroad, and High School Year Abroad. While students may become a part of long-term academic programs, they can also choose to simply travel abroad to understand a foreign culture and make lifelong friends with other students who come from different countries. The short-term programs from ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE can take the form of a family-to-family exchange, international youth camp, or summer travel.
During a recent conversation about the programs of ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE, its spokesperson revealed, “All our sponsored foreign exchanges take place via our Rotary Clubs in hundreds of nations. We have over 1.2 million members in more than 33,000 Rotary Clubs that host our young program participants in their respective countries. Our programs are usually open to the youth aged between 15 and 19 years. We also offer the Study Abroad Scholarship cover for deserving students. Our scholarship holds a value of more than $24,000.”
ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE’s high school semester abroad programs are open to regular students, as well as gap year students. A long-term study abroad program lasts a full academic year, during which the students attend school and live with two to three families in their host country. This is Rotary International’s flagship exchange program. To ensure students’ safety, the local host Rotary Club carefully screens and selects all host families. Additionally, that Rotary Club pays students a monthly stipend and assigns a dedicated counselor to help them get the most out of their exchange.
The spokesperson further asserted, “Studying abroad as a high school foreign exchange student is an immersion into the culture of another country. The challenges are great, but so are the benefits. Students reap many rewards from an exchange experience, including their serving as an ambassador for their country and community and adapting to a new way of life. They mingle with other exchange students from around the world and learn about the practices and accomplishments of people in other countries.”
ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE offers the best high school summer travel programs and study abroad programs that let the participating students assume leadership roles shaped by lessons from the experience. Students build memories that will be with them forever, and they return home with a greater sense of the world and a deeper understanding of themselves and their culture. The sponsor provides foreign exchange programs at the lowest possible cost, while its scholarship covers the tuition fees of students and several other costs.
