GetCharged, Inc. Launches Crowdfunding Campaign for Charging Hubs on StartEngine

New York, NY – July 22, 2020 – GetCharged, Inc., an electric fueling station producer poised to become the largest global network of electric charging, storage, and service stations for micromobility, this week announced they have launched a crowdfunding campaign on StartEngine.

Working to address three points of failure that prohibit the success of micromobility, from dead scooters with no charging capabilities, to littered scooters around cities and lack of access when they are most needed, Charged is doing it all with one seamless network.

“Electric scooters and bikes are able to clear road congestion, prevent greenhouse gas emission, and make it easier for people to get from point A to point B in tight locations,” said Andrew Fox, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of GetCharged, Inc. “The problem is that oftentimes, it’s hard to find these scooters when the moment counts, as well as charge them. That’s what inspired us to create our new global network.”

Charge works with municipalities and other clients to address the scooter coordination problem through their docks and enterprise charging hubs. By using these hubs, Charge will be able to preserve the streetscape, deliver charged scooters to interested riders for an equitable distribution of scooters, and provide a charging hub for those en route.

By offering all three of these solutions, Charge stated, now cities can fully embrace all of the positive potential that comes with micromobility as a green transportation alternative.

“We are proudly filling the gap between the needs of cities, juicers, riders, and scooter operators today,” said Fox. “Our products can fulfill the promise that micromobility can replace thousands of personal vehicular trips, which will lead the way to a more sustainable, greener future. And we’re doing it with a qualified team of experts that bring business, engineering, government, and transportation experience to the table.”

Charge is on a mission to build the biggest infrastructure for micromobility operators throughout the world, helping to protect cities, streets, and the environment all at the same time. Their goal is to reach 11,000 street stations, 1,000 smart hubs, and thousands of digital stations, generating an excess of $300,000,000 annually and $100,000,000 in earnings.

To help them get there, the team has launched a crowdfunding campaign to bring awareness of the campaign.

To date, Charge has already successfully launched in Atlanta and Los Angeles, with their LA smart hubs boasting a 100% utilization rate. The team is excited to continue expanding throughout 2020 and beyond.
