MacCheesy Re-opening May 1, 2020 with New Virtual Drive-Thru
MacCheesy is a unique themed restaurant located in Joplin, Missouri that serves a variety of twists on the ultimate comfort food! This restaurant features 20+ different Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, and a delicious collection of Desserts and Shakes.
Due to measures of social distancing and general caution put in public places to help combat COVID-19, consumers have been dining out less and less. This has affected the restaurant community as a whole as they are being rocked by a dramatic decline in sales.
To adapt to these changes, MacCheesy is launching a new Virtual Drive-Thru when they re-open on May 1st. Virtual Drive-Thru allows customers to order their food from their phone and have it delivered right to the car window without ever having to go in store or wait in line.
Sherif Magd, the creator of MacCheesy states, “We wanted to provide people with simple, safe, and convenient options to order their food. All they have to do is park, scan our QR code or order online & we’ll bring the food out to them – it’s completely contactless.”
MacCheesy is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to differentiate their brand and improve customer service, so along with it being contactless, it’s also convenient for customers in many different scenarios and situations such as bad weather, those with young children or others who find it difficult to leave their car.
Continuing, Sherif said “The last thing you want when getting dinner is to be stuck in a line behind five other cars. With our Virtual Drive-Thru, you simply place your order on your phone and wait for us to do the rest.”
The restaurant’s unique menu has attracted rave reviews from its customers as Mary Lillian from Missouri testified: “I rate MacCheesy 10 gold stars!!! I live 11 hrs away & would take a weekend trip just to come back to have more!!!”
