Community Responders, LLC which has been offering affordable training to the general public and for businesses and organizations since 2016, is organizing SCA or Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month for the entire month of October. According to health.org, cardiac arrest is the abrupt loss of heart function in people who may or may not have been diagnosed with heart disease. It can come on suddenly at any place and thus the need of having the right information and knowledge of CPR is very important. Community Responders, LLC which is based in Arizona will be organizing Zoom Webinars for the month of October open to anyone in any state of all ages. The main motive behind this event is to promote and encourage everyday people to learn CPR by taking their Basic CPR class, which is completely free via Zoom for those just looking for knowledge. Individuals who are looking for 2-year certification out of the training can pay just $10 for the card.

According to Shae Freeman-Caimitte who is the CEO of Community Responders LLC, as well as a paramedic and a CPR instructor for the last 13 years, “Cardiac Arrest may happen to any person at any moment. It is very uncertain. You may be traveling by train and the person sitting next to you might undergo cardiac arrest in the next moment.” She further continues,” The best aid that you can provide at that moment is to call 911 and then start CPR right away.” Shae also added, “Especially in the United States, more than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur each year outside the hospital setting. So it can take place anywhere. Thus having the correct information and knowledge can be a lifesaver.”
