A little over a week ago, Mackey released the official music video to his buzzing song Annie, which is currently sitting at 35,000 plus YouTube views and 580,000 Spotify plays. “I hope people remember first that this is a music video/short film attached to a lighthearted fun song that I put out in Sept 2019. I put a message in the short because of the year we have had, my personal experience with police & for the main purpose of all my content: I want people to walk away with real-life thoughts in the back of their minds and considering the reality of this country’s day to day occurrences for Black Women & Men alike I figured a reminder thru my content in this medium is necessary,” – says Terrell Mackey.
