OTB Tax Sees Unprecedented Growth of 4000% Over 3 Years, With Most Growth Occurring Outside of Typical Tax Season

Greers, SC, USA – December 21, 2020 – Despite the pandemic, OTB Tax is having a banner year. Not only has December generated their biggest month this year, it’s been their biggest month in their company history. For a tax firm to have their biggest month outside of the typical January-through-April-tax-season is highly unexpected, however, OTB Tax is doing three times more business 2020 than last year.

Courtney Epps, OTB Tax owner and best-selling author, says that “No other accounting firm is making money in November and December and OTB Tax is setting a precedence for how a tax business can grow in the off-season.” The company had three employees last year, and now they have 20 employees. OTB Tax needs to double the staff’s size to ensure that they’re ready for 10,000 new clients in 2021. “By adding so many new staff members, we’ve been able to provide an even better quality of service to our clients,” adds Epps.

OTB Tax is well known for empowering small-to-medium-sized businesses and families to have a more comfortable and less taxing life. They do this by teaching tax minimization strategies, offering financial consulting services, and creating a wealthy-minded community.

Epps has been teaching weekly year-end tax strategy webinars with over 300 people registering for each one. The webinars are filled with tips on how to lower taxes and maximize tax laws before the year ends. Starting in January, Epps will customize her tips to include tax strategies for the first quarter of the year. Free tax strategy webinars are every Tuesday.

TEDxOcala featured Epps last month with a presentation on The Voice of Common Sense; “Why You Would Be Brain Dead Not to Own a Home Based Business.” Epps is passionate about helping Americans cut their #1 expense, their tax bill, with a home-based business. “Most families could free up over $4,000 in tax expenses,” explains Epps.

In addition to her TedX accomplishment, Epps has recently hit two massive milestones – earning both her Ph.D. and IRS Enrolled Agent Credentials at the same time. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards and, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
