Joincube, Inc. Announces Agreement to Sell Hibox Team Collaboration Software to Stone River eLearning LLC

Boulder, CO – March 29, 2021 – Joincube, Inc., a developer of multiple B2B SaaS products including Beamer, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to sell Hibox, team communication and collaboration platform, to Stone River eLearning LLC for an undisclosed amount.

Hibox was built by the team at Joincube, Inc. in 2015 to give companies a better way to communicate and collaborate online. Hibox was the first SaaS platform to combine chat, task management, file sharing and videoconferencing in one. When asked to describe Hibox, Spencer Coon, COO of Joincube, said “it’s like having a Slack, Asana and Zoom rolled up into one tool that’s private just for your work team. Hibox eliminates switching costs from using too many tools and helps teams supercharge productivity.”

Spencer talked about the decision to sell stating, “We had recently shifted focus to a new product we launched two years ago called Beamer. We were looking for a new home for Hibox that would continue growing and expanding its capabilities. We think Mark and his team at Stone River eLearning are the perfect candidates.”

Mark Trego, founder and CEO of Stone River eLearning, said, “We initially became a customer of Hibox to solve the team miscommunication and inefficiency issues inherent in using multiple tools for our entirely remote team. This decision completely changed the way we work, and Hibox was so easy to implement and use that it blew the competition away.”

Trego continued, “We were so impressed with Hibox, in fact, that we approached Mr. Coon to discuss a possible purchase of the product. It turned out to be the right time for both sides and we were able to come to an agreement relatively quickly.”

Joincube plans to use funds to continue to expand their newest product Beamer, the leading changelog and notification center which helps SaaS companies notify users in-app about their latest product updates and get better user feedback through comments and NPS. Beamer has already closed many top SaaS customers including Intercom, Hotjar, Freshworks, Atlassian, and Zenefits and is in hyper growth mode at more than 10% per month.

This sale will allow us to double down on Beamer and our mission to help SaaS companies all over the globe build better products and close the feedback loop with users.
