Tucson Dentist Says Local Economy Appears To Be Roaring Back

Kimberly Yang D.M.D. has seen a growth in business that parallels the State of Arizona’s economic growth. Her practice covers the city of Tucson and the surrounding area.

Kimberly Yang and the First Dental Center Office of Kimberly Yang, D.M.D. are pleased to remind prospective patients that the local economy shows strong signs of returning to a better economic perspective. The local dentist remarks on how the traffic levels have changed with the return to more businesses opening. Most residents can attest to the improved local economy by the amount of traffic that uses the highways and streets. Although busy streets are not necessarily viewed as a benefit for those commuting to work, they are a positive sign that people are beginning to emerge from their lockdown mode.

Long gone are the days of empty streets in Tucson, Arizona. “This place was a ghost town,” says local resident Melinda Speer. “I could make it to work some days in as little as ten minutes. These days, I am lucky if I can make it in 25.”

Says Anna, a local bartender at Home Plate in Tucson, “We were completely shut down for over six months. At first, when we opened the doors again, it was completely dead. We are in a lucky position that we own the property. Many bars that didn’t own the property or didn’t have the proper liquor license to operate as a restaurant (even though we serve food here) are done.”

According to Kimberly Yang, a local Tucson dentistat First Dental Center, “Things seem to be getting better. We are seeing a lot of people who have been putting off dental care who have been coming in, since they have some of that badly needed stimulus and child credit money.”

Economists appear to agree. According to the University of Arizona’s Eller College, Arizona is expected to see somewhere close to 4% growth in 2021, after the devastating -2% contraction of 2020.
