Avocado contains vitamin E and C which protects the skin from sun damage and helps the skin’s vitality,” says Zalnieraite. “It also contains biotin, a B vitamin that helps with the skin’s dryness. How Nutrients can Revitalize the Skin

The Moisturizing Avocado Mask

This avocado mask moisturizes and hydrates the skin. It plumps dry areas and tightens pores. 

Ingredients

  • ⅓ ripe avocado – peeled and pitted

  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Instructions 

  • Mash the avocado until smooth

  • Combine the remaining ingredients for a cream-like consistency

  • Apply evenly across the face and let sit for 15 minutes

  • Rinse off with warm water

The “Wake Your Body” Scrub

This coffee scrub revitalizes and exfoliates the skin. It also increases circulation and reduces the appearance of cellulite.  

Ingredients

  • Ground coffee

  • ½ cup of raw sugar or sea salt

  • 3 tablespoons of coconut or olive oil 

Instructions

  • Combine ground coffee with raw sugar or sea salt into a bowl

  • Add olive oil or coconut oil until it reaches a paste consistency

  • Rub in face and body 

  • Rinse off with warm water
