Local Personal Injury Law Firm Awards Scholarships to Deserving Students in North and South Carolina
Harris & Graves, P.A., a local, personal injury law firm dedicated to helping residents of North and South Carolina seek compensation for accident-related injuries, has chosen the winners for their 2021 Rise Above Scholarship.
About the Rise Above Scholarship
Harris & Graves, P.A., treats their whole community like family. Since many students are unable to pursue higher education because of economic hardship, Harris & Graves, P.A., offered the Rise Above Scholarship to make students’ educational goals possible.
The Rise Above Scholarship offered two high-school or college-enrolled students a $500 scholarship opportunity to apply toward tuition or education-related expenses. The scholarship was open to students that have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have been accepted or currently attend a 2- or 4-year college in North or South Carolina. Participants were instructed to write an essay about a challenge they’ve faced, how they overcame it, and what they learned from the experience.

While the Rise Above Scholarship received many excellent applications, two students stood out with thoughtful essays about the unique challenges they’ve overcome in their lives. The winners of the Rise Above Scholarship include:
