After over a decade of being single, Mirandia Hand decided that she was ready to think about being in a relationship.  She had seen her share of bad relationships, but she was still willing to give one a try.  Hand had dated a few times off and on, but she was starting to feel like a long-term relationship was not about to happen.  Then, about three years ago, she had a dream.  In that dream, she saw Marcus Belvin, the man who later became her husband.

Hand’s dream was complicated.  She had prayed about whether she should expect or even desire a husband, but she never expected to see Belvin in her dream since she knew so little about him. “Marcus and I had never had a real conversation,” she said. “We just met in passing.”

Hand, who works as a service coordinator at Raleigh North Christian Center, a church in Raleigh, North Carolina, met Belvin while preparing for a service. Hand states, “Marcus used to travel a lot for work, so I rarely saw him, and when I did see him, we only spent a few seconds saying ‘Hello.’” 

However, one particular service was different.  Hand, who was now determined to test her dream, ventured out to speak to Belvin in a more meaningful way. Belvin (who was in a relationship at the time) was puzzled because he didn’t realize Hand was even interested in him.  He said, “I asked Mirandia why she waited so long to say something to me. I was interested, but I didn’t know if she even had me on her radar.”

Hand was most definitely interested. She confided in her coworkers and shared her desire to get to know Belvin better. At the time, what Hand thought she knew didn’t look promising for her.  She knew that Belvin was in a relationship and that he didn’t seem to like her. She says with a wink, “Marcus didn’t seem to like me, or so we [she and her coworkers] thought. The running joke was that I came off too pushy!”

When Hand’s coworkers laughed at her when she told them her dream and her conviction to marry Belvin, she was undeterred.  Hand said that her pastor, Apostle Jeffery Chapman, Sr., taught her how to persevere until she manifests what God has confirmed to her.  She said, “My pastor has told me over and over again that I need to trust God — to trust what God is saying to me and to keep pressing toward that goal.”  “That,” she continued laughing, “is how I put up with my doubters and clowners!” 

Hand got her chance to set her coworkers straight at her wedding. To be fair, Hand had warned them that this moment was coming.  She had told them, “You wait. Marcus is going to ask me to marry him, and I am going to stop and look at all of you at the wedding and tell you, ‘I told you so!’” 

Her words and the side-eye she gave them at her wedding to Belvin became a viral Tik-Tok video.  Hand’s words were manifested right before everyone’s eyes, and she fulfilled her promise to call out her coworkers and to look at them.  Of course, Hand, who is now Mirandia Belvin, enjoyed joking with her coworkers, but her believe in the power of words and manifestations is real.  She is the #manifestationcoordinator who now teaches people how to manifest their dreams. 

Mirandia Belvin wants people to know that she isn’t just a one-hit, manifestation wonder.  She also manifested her own business — a virtual assistant business called iAssist Virtual Services — in 2020.  She says, “I know that when I speak something, something is going to happen.  I may have to be patient, and I may have to repent, but something will happen.”
