Sylvester Mugabi Chronicles His Experience In Search Of Greener Pastures In Embrace Your Mess
Sylvester Mugabi traveled from Uganda to the United States in pursuit of greener pastures. However, things did not particularly turn out as expected as revealed in his new book series Embrace Your Mess. In a related development, the author recently published the first of the series of seven books, where he aims to share his experience with the world about “how life can be a mess when you migrate to another country.”
The United States remains one of the top destinations for emigrants looking to relocate, with millions of people from different parts of the world relocating to the country in search of a better life and possibly the “American dream.” Unfortunately, the expected is not often the case, with most people discovering that “the grass is not always greener on the other side.” This was the situation with Author Sylvester Mugabi, who migrated to the US in hopes of living a better life only to discover how difficult it can be for a foreigner to make headway.
In a new book titled Embrace Your Mess: Take Advantage of Failure, the first of the series, the author shares his experience as he hopes to teach readers powerful lessons, especially about owning their mistakes, learning from them, and coming out as better individuals. Sylvester Mugabi writes about how he lost practically all his money to an investment gone wrong and the decision to channel the anger into learning.
The author has also announced plans to release Embrace Your Mess Book 2: The Other Side of America in about 5 months.
