Through this agreement, KAF will officially be supported for climbing walls worth ₩1.4 – ₩1.6 billion (KRW) from CLIMB KOREA for four years between 2022 to 2025, and will work together to improve athletes’ skills and develop sport climbing events.
The climbing walls for IFSC World Cup in Jungnang/Seoul in April and IFSC Youth World Championship in Mapo/Seoul in August were also provided and sponsored by CLIMB KOREA.
In particular, at the IFSC World Cup in April, not only Korea records but also World records were renewed, signaling the excellence of both athletes’ effort and class of CLIMB KOREA’s competition climbing walls.
CLIMB KOREA is not only a climbing wall company, but is also being reborn as a representative adventure facility company in Korea. In particular, it is an example to pioneer a brand in the field of adventure facilities. Based on the know-how to install climbing walls, the production and construction of adventure facilities that put safety first are typical features. These characteristics can be seen as based on certificates obtained from various institutions, including Korea and abroad. Representative certificates include Asian supplier certificates issued by ZipZag, Head Rush’s official service center certificates, and EN15567 certificates issued by TUV Rheinland Korea for ropes courses at Mungyeong head office which were obtained for the first time in Korea.
EN15567 specifies safety requirements for the design, installation, inspection and maintenance of ropes courses and their components, and is recognized as a reliable evaluation index for the safe construction and use of high ropes courses
