Josias Puts His Soul Into New EP Series, “Portal Pack”
Some artists release one album every other year, if that. Then there are artists like Josias who come at you with roughly 10 volumes, EPs, of new music. Otherwise known as his “Portal Packs.” He’s dropped one a few already and has a couple more expected to drop this Spring.
Josias started to release the first of many volumes in October 2019. From then until the start of 2020 two more followed. Each volume/EP showcase the variety in which Josias can do, as well as a featured theme like “Welcome to My World” for example. With each volume, audiences will hear his soulful style that displays a beautiful balance of R&B and hip hop as well.
On top of being a solo artist with a great deal of music out and on the way, Josias is also gearing up for the release of a feature he did with the group Cool Company in May 5, 2020. If that wasn’t enough, he’s also part of the collective alongside Troopbrand, JustJohn, Jimmy, and Prabhu called We Were Here. They’ve been working with and supporting one another for the past five years as they merge the worlds of hip hop, rock, gospel, pop, and soul. They like to liken themselves to The Temptations when they went solo, but we’re still very much together.
Right now Josias is focused on releasing and completing his volumes, and making moves with the upcoming release of new merchandise.
