BrightLine Bags Invites Pilots To Try Their FLEX System Bags

San Rafael, CA – BrightLine Bags, an innovative and forward-thinking design company, is pleased to invite pilots to try their FLEX System Travel Bags for Pilots. These unique bags can adapt and change depending on the owner’s use-case scenarios and are the perfect bags for all types of pilots who need a bag that can carry just the right amount of gear and fit efficiently onboard.

Most pilots struggle to find a gear bag that fits all of their requirements because the gear that is needed from one flight to the next can vary significantly. Or, the specific gear that one pilot carries can be very different from that of another. The design team from BrightLine Bags realized that a modular system was the perfect approach, and set about designing an interchangeable set of components to solve this problem. They worked with a group of pilots for their initial ideas and then produced prototypes that the pilots tested extensively to refine the final product.

“Pure and simple our company aims to help pilots better organize their gear so they can be more effective and safer  in their work,” said Ross Bishop of BrightLine Bags. “Before we started work on this new range of bags, we had spoken to lots and lots of different pilots, and all of them had the same complaints. They couldn’t find a bag that was organized enough, or that gave rapid access to critical gear, or that could adapt to different flight and gear scenarios. It was a fun challenge to create a thoughtful bag system that answers those universal needs of all gear owners.  Feedback from everyone ranging from student pilots to long-time commercial pilots, has shown that we did our job well.”

BrightLine Bags was founded in 2008 by the owner and CEO Ross Bishop. As a Certified Flight Instructor for Rotorcraft, Ross understood the pilots’ challenges in finding their perfect gear bag. The majority of bags on the market were either too small or too large, they never had enough pockets or organization, and they always just ended up acting like “black holes” for gear. Ross utilized his engineering experience to design his very own flight bag. Once he began showing the design and concept to his fellow pilots, he discovered that there was a huge demand for this type of product. Inspired by this feedback, Ross made the decision to launch BrightLine Bags, and the company has flourished ever since.
