Singapore – Founded in 2018 by first-time entrepreneur Eugene Quek, First Responders LLP set out on a mission: to become the best First Aid training provider in Singapore. After four years of hard work, the efforts of Eugene and his team have paid off, as First Responders LLP became a proud recipient of the Singapore SME 500 Award 2022 by Singapore’s Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC).

“We believe that everyone can be a lifesaver, regardless of their age, background, or ability level,” said Eugene. “Anyone can learn, and our training helps to remove fear and instill confidence in people.”

Eugene wishes to spread the message for others to appreciate the gift of life through the First Aid training that they provide for individuals and companies. “Every First Aid lesson was created and improved on because someone else suffered in the past,” Eugene said. “Saving a life is truly one of the greatest things a person can do.”

Eugene urges people to learn First Aid and acquire life-saving skills to help themselves and their loved ones. “Accidents and emergencies happen at unexpected moments, which is why people should always be ready and prepared,” said Eugene. “Ideally, each household should have at least two trained First Aiders such that one can help the other in case one of them becomes a casualty themselves,” he added.

Receiving the Singapore SME 500 Award 2022 was a significant milestone for Eugene and his team, motivating them to work harder than ever, expanding their curriculum and partnering with other companies in Singapore to provide professional training as required by local governing bodies. In the near future, they aspire to assemble their own fleet of emergency response vehicles to bolster the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)’s current fleet.
